ARTIST STATEMENT

Hello! My name is Morgan O'Dower and I am a junior at Blue Valley West. The pictures here on my website are all taken on film, and this was my first time ever using a film camera. I have taken digital photography classes in the past, and through that experience, I realized my passion for photography. There is something so special about being able to capture the scene before you in a way that enables you to reflect on it later. The photos you will see on my website are an eclectic mix of many different types of subjects, and taking all of these types of pictures forced me to expand my creativity and break my traditional photography patterns. All of my featured photos were taken outdoors because I feel much freer and inspired when I am outside!
